First Theraplay training in about 1998 with goal to support children with attachment disorder. I used Theraplay with my own children, with children at a private clinic, and then later in residential care while working with children on the autism spectrum. During this period, starting in 2003, I did the practicum all the way through to full certification. Thereafter, I started participating in trainings and eventually became a fully certified trainer. I worked for the Theraplay Institute for about one year as a trainer traveling to sites in the United States, Canada, and Europe, and started the process of supervising. I eventually was certified as a supervisor and also did reviews of midterms and finals.
Married with three children, two adopted one by birth. I do rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, and artwork in my spare time. I also did a four year course in yoga instruction and yoga therapy.
